Benagil is a fishing town in the Algarve known for its sea caves and picturesque beaches.

Next to Praia de Benagil, the huge cave of Algar de Benagil includes a natural skylight and a small expanse of sand. Furthermore, it can only be visited by boat or paddleboard. The Sete Vales hiking trail runs along steep limestone cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The town's hilly streets are full of seafood restaurants and luxury hotels.
